blackmail

If you are on Twitter and you don't follow one Chief Ojukwu, you are missing a lot.

He shared something on blackmail I found interesting an so want all my regular readers to also read.

"1. You threaten, fake news, disparage people. 'Its just twitter, don't take it serious'. It's just banter until you cross the wrong person. The way people react to threats differ, some ignore some make sure you are never able to threaten them again.

2. I will tell 2 short stories; one involving someone here on twitter but I won't mention her name & the other story involves someone who isn't here.

A.    Lady met a guy online & they hit it off. Met & started seeing each other. Then this guy asked her for money which she said
3. she didn't have at the time. Next thing he did was to send her a whatsapp message with nudes & videos he made without her knowledge. He threatened to put them online if she didn't pay up. Two days later, he was asleep when his phone rang. His old mother was calling him from
4. the village, 'my son who did you offend? There are people here wearing black & masked all armed with guns. They have tied your father up! Whatever it is, resolve it or they promise to come back again.' As he hung up, his phone rang again, this time it was the lady. She said

5. "did your mother just call you from your village? They have been let go, it was just a warning. You can go ahead & post the pics/video online. I know where all your family live." Of course he deleted everything & pleaded with her.

B.    A married rich lady got into an affair
6. with a young guy in his 30s in Lagos . She bought him an suv & rented a service apartment for him. One of her trips overseas, she even got him to travel with her. Then he decided to blackmail her so he could cash out big. Told her he would send her pics/vids to the husband if

7. she didn't pay him a certain amount. Meanwhile her husband is ex-military & well grounded in Lagos. One Friday young man returning from club parks at the front of his estate & people assumed he maybe dozed off on the wheel. Security opens the door & find him dead.

In your
8. daily interactions, be very careful dealing with people. Some people are the devil in human skin.

These two stories could be a figment of my imagination, I don't even know myself. "
