Apparently ManUnited now has a new Naija/Yoruba meaning break glass aka Foh go ( four goals) all the new signings from last year till now are in beast mode and Mourinho is now looking like the Champion that we know, Arsene Wenger is an annoying site on the touchline right now for some Arsenal fans, the team looks more confused than Barca, Tottenham experienced the first bad luck of the season, Chelsea Replicated their Champions league performance to seal the win, it is likely that Conte might have himself to blame for some poor decisions he made the window, and Liverpool are just like beez buzzing around your post.
Highlights from the 1st weekend
We still have the match against Mancity and Everton which is a must win for Pep but we are all interested to see how he will set his team and its effect on the long run but let's talk about the already played matches and see why the English Premier League is the Best.
Top 10 Goals Week 1
Let's start with the first match of the day shall we, Manchester United are already bookmakers favorite to win the league this season and the reason is very evident, United surpressed Swansea and gave themselves enough time to cause major damage on Swansea. United bossed proceedings from the beginning to the end like they did a week ago at Old Trafford, Lukaku is scorings Pogba is playing beautifully and justifying his price tag and this is largely because of the impact of new signing Matic who is just a beauty in front of the defence, makes me wonder is there anything Kante can do that Matic can not do?? I haven't even mentioned Mhikitarian, Martial, and Rashford just a few of the attacking options at Mourinho's disposal. This is the kind of dominance that Mourinho is known for so he couldn't be happier.The season just began and the title is very open but few will bet against Manutd.
The Richest black man in the world wants to buy major shares in Arsenal and even made the sacking of Arsene Wenger one of the reason according to sources, that's to show you the level of frustration from the Arsenal camp worldwide!! I could tell you about how they had 70% possession and created chances, completed passes, but this is stuff Arsenal is known for and it doesn't matter if it doesn't bring results!! Lacazette tried to make an impact but it looked like his role in the team is set up in an unbalanced way, therefore, making his movements bad and colliding with passes meant for other people and missing some opportunities to compliment some attacking moves! I can only wonder if the introduction of Sanchez back into the set up comes how will Wenger set up his team?? to me he still looks confused, that Arsenal team is very very unbalanced. The only thing that can help them is the experience both on the team and Wenger if he is intelligent enough to use it.
Liverpool, on the other hand, can pass the ball and forget they are to create as many chances as possible and this was the same trademark last season. I don't know about Salah and i am guessing there is a reason Klopp signed him but that team does not look like it can dominate a league but thats how Klops team are, he is very evident in the gameplay of Liverpool but he and Pep need to really take a look at the other teams in the premier league and see how holding of possession can not always guarantee a win in this league, you have to have to of height, strength or pace or all three, to really successfully dominate in the Premier league. But who knows Klop might have perfected his team to his gameplay so they can not be written off, they are still major contenders and they have pace in excess to give it a go...
Antonio Conte thinks Chelsea is like Juventus and because he won the league he thinks he can do anything he likes because I still do not understand why Costa is out of the team, Morata is young and skillful but Costa won the league for Chelsea, at least afford him some respect, if he was in the team Morata will have time to blend in then he can now replace him. Anyways Chelsea managed to beat Tottenham playing flat football, very minimal creativity but they beat Spurs that gave a very dominant display but they were resigned to a defeat in an Arsenal style, good football no goal, even the one goal they managed was an own goal!! The score line doesn't tell the real story but it is all that matters, 3 points in the bag for Chelsea. I want to see how they plan to defend their title this season, but know that if they mess up, Conte is not going to complete his contract.

Obviously we know that these standings will change sooner rather than later, but this shows how surprises can spring up in the premier league, but for now, it is very open and the men at the forefront are Jose Mourinho's Men...
